Who we are
Dineo’s Digital Dreamers is an initiative that empowers children and youth from diverse backgrounds through computer literacy, academic support, and ECD-aligned digital learning.
We work closely with Early Childhood Development (ECD) centres, educators, and communities to ensure that young learners gain developmentally appropriate exposure to technology while strengthening foundational skills.
Our approach is aligned with the Department of Basic Education South Africa National Curriculum Framework (NCF) for children from birth to four, and supports school readiness for learners aged 5–6.
Our History
Founded in 2023 by Dineo Makaudi, the organisation was born out of a need to address the digital divide in underserved communities.
Driven by the belief of “not leaving anyone behind,” Dineo created a platform where children can explore technology, unlock creativity, and imagine new possibilities beyond their circumstances.
Mission
To empower children and youth from diverse backgrounds by providing inclusive access to digital education, academic support, and innovative 4IR skills, ensuring that no one is left behind in the digital age.
Vision
To build a future where every young person, regardless of their background, has the skills, confidence, and opportunity to thrive in a technology-driven world and become active creators of digital solutions.
